Nava Town Mandalorian Meet the Doctor Act 1

Narration (Five years after the fall of the Empire,[ a Mandalorian bounty hunter collects a fugitive (and saves the fugitive's life) after a scuffle in a bar on the ice planet Pago don and returns to the planet Navarro in his ship, the Razor Crest. He meets Greef Karga, the leader of the bounty hunter's guild, but he only offers low-paying bounties that will not cover travel expenses. Looking to get a bigger bounty, the Mandalorian accepts a mysterious commission, for which Karga can only provide an address, to meet the Client, who wants the details of the job to be private.)

The Mandalorian, clad in his distinctive armor, walks through the bustling streets of Nava Town towards the address provided by Greef Karga. As he walks, he takes in the sights and sounds of the town, noting the remnants of the once-powerful Empire's presence. Stormtrooper helmets mounted on pikes, and Imperial technology repurposed for local use.

He arrives at the address, a nondescript building in the outskirts of town. The Mandalorian enters and finds himself in a dimly lit room with a single table and a hooded figure sitting across from him.

"Welcome, Mandalorian," says the hooded figure, his voice muffled by the cloth covering his face. "I have a job for you, one that requires utmost discretion and the utmost skill."

The Mandalorian nods, his eyes scanning the room for any potential threats. He's dealt with his fair share of dangerous clients before.

"The job is simple. I need you to retrieve an object from a secure facility on the planet Kessel. You'll be well-compensated, of course."

The Mandalorian narrows his eyes. Kessel is a dangerous place, and the object in question must be valuable indeed if the Client is willing to pay such a high price for it.

"I'll do it," he says, his voice steady. "But I need more information. What is this object, and why is it so important?"

The Client leans forward, and the light catches his eyes for a brief moment, revealing a glint of red.

"That's not something you need to worry about, Mandalorian," he says. "Just bring me the object, and you'll be handsomely rewarded."

The Mandalorian considers this for a moment before nodding. "Very well. I'll need a ship and some equipment. And a co-pilot."

The Client leans back in his seat, and a wry smile spreads across his face. "I have just the co-pilot for you. Doctor?"

From the shadows steps the 8th Doctor, looking out of place in his colorful coat and mismatched attire. "Hello, old boy," he says, flashing a grin at the Mandalorian. "Ready for an adventure?"

The Mandalorian eyes the Doctor warily. He's heard stories about Time Lords, and they're not always pleasant. But he needs a co-pilot, and the Doctor seems capable enough.

"Fine," he says. "Let's get to work."

The Client hands him a data chip with all the information he needs, and the Mandalorian turns to leave, the Doctor trailing behind him.

As they exit the building, the Mandalorian can't shake the feeling that something isn't quite right. But he pushes the thought aside and heads back to the Razor Crest, ready to take on whatever dangers lie ahead on Kessel.

Target "50 something years old" Tatooine Act 2

The Mandalorian and the 8th Doctor return to the Razor Crest with the data chip in hand. They plug it into the ship's console, and the information flickers to life.

"Target: 50 years old. Last known location: Tatooine," the computer voice intones.

The Mandalorian frowns. Tatooine is a desert planet, and finding one person in a place like that won't be easy. But the promise of beskar is too tempting to ignore.

He sets a course for Tatooine, and the ship jumps to hyperspace.

When they arrive on Tatooine, the Mandalorian and the Doctor make their way to a seedy cantina in the outskirts of town. They scan the faces of the patrons, looking for someone who fits the age and description given by the Client.

Finally, they spot him—a grizzled old man sitting in the corner, nursing a drink.

The Mandalorian approaches him, his hand on his blaster. "We're looking for someone," he says. The old man eyes him warily. "Who?"

"Someone who's worth a lot of money to us. The Client sent us to bring him back alive. The old man snorts. "Good luck with that. I am not going nowhere with you."

The Mandalorian's grip tightens on his blaster. "You don't have a choice."

Before things can escalate further, a group of stormtroopers burst into the cantina, blasters at the ready. "Stand down, Mandalorian," says one of the troopers. "The Client has sent us to collect the target."

The Mandalorian glares at the stormtroopers but ultimately decides to stand down. They follow the troopers out of the cantina and into the blistering Tatooine sun.

As they make their way across the desert, the Mandalorian can't shake the feeling that something is off. The Client's use of stormtroopers as bodyguards is strange, to say the least. And why is he so eager to get this one target back?

When they arrive at the rendezvous point, the Mandalorian and the Doctor finally meet the Client in person. He's a portly man, dressed in expensive robes, and surrounded by even more stormtroopers.

"I trust the mission was a success?" he says, his voice oily.

The Mandalorian nods. "We have the target. But I want to know why he's so important. And why you need him alive."

The Client leans forward, a sly smile on his face. "You ask too many questions, Mandalorian. But I suppose I can share a little information. The target is a child. A very special child. And I want him back for… research purposes."

The Mandalorian's eyes widen. A child? He can't bring himself to turn over a child to this man, no matter how much beskar is at stake.

"I'm sorry," he says, his voice firm. "I can't do it. You'll have to find someone else."

The Client's smile disappears. "Very well. I'll find someone who can."

The Mandalorian and the Doctor leave the planet empty-handed, their thoughts on the child and what fate might await him. As they fly through space, the Mandalorian thinks about his own past, and the foundlings he's helped to raise. He can't let this child suffer the same fate as so many others.

He makes a decision. They're going back to Tatooine, and they're going to rescue that child. No matter the cost.

The Son of Master Yoda Act 3

Narration (The Mandalorian travels to a desert planet Arvala-7 and meets a native named Kuiil who wants to be rid of the criminals and mercenaries who now inhabit the area. Kuiil teaches the Mandalorian to ride a Blurrg, as there are no land-speed vehicles to traverse the area and sends him to where his bounty is located. Upon reaching the hideout, the Mandalorian and the Doctor grudgingly teams up with the bounty droid IG-11. They manage to clear the entire facility of its Nikto guards and discover that the bounty is a green, big-eared childlike creature the son of Master Yoda. IG-11 plans to kill it, but the Mandalorian blasts the droid to protect the baby and bounty.)

Mandalorian: (panting) We need to move quickly. Those Nikto guards won't stay down for long.

8th Doctor: Agreed. But what about the child? What's the plan?

Mandalorian: (pausing for a moment) I don't know yet. But I'm not letting that bounty droid harm it. 8th Doctor: (raising an eyebrow) That's quite the statement coming from a bounty hunter.

Mandalorian: (sighs) Look, I may not have a heart of gold, but I'm not heartless. That little one deserves a chance at life.

8th Doctor: (smiling softly) I couldn't agree more. But be careful, Mandalorian. This child is precious, and there are those who will stop at nothing to get it. Mandalorian: (nodding) I know. That's why I need to find somewhere safe to take it. Somewhere it can be protected.

8th Doctor: (putting a hand on his shoulder) You're doing the right thing. Trust your instincts, Mandalorian. Mandalorian: (smirking) Trusting my instincts is what got me into this mess in the first place.

8th Doctor: (chuckles) Well, then trust me. You're not alone in this. We'll figure it out together.

Mandalorian: (nodding) Okay. Let's get out of here before any more trouble finds us. 8th Doctor: (smiling) Agreed. And may I say, you're quite the skilled fighter. I've never seen anyone take down a bounty droid like that.

Mandalorian: (grinning) Thanks. It's all in a day's work for a Mandalorian.

Battle for the Egg Act 4

Narration (The Mandalorian and the 8th, Doctor is ambushed by a trio of Trandoshan warriors. The Doctor uses his sonic screwdriver to disintegrate one attempting to rush and kill the Child, revealing a tracking fob. Upon returning to his ship, he and the Doctor finds a team of Jawas scavenging it for parts.

After a short battle, they retreat in their Sand crawler and stun the Mandalorian unconscious with ion blasts. He returns to his ship, finding it stripped bare and all of his weaponry stolen. With the assistance of Kuiil, he grudgingly bargains with the Jawas to return his ship's parts in return for retrieving the egg of a mud horn.

The Mandalorian fights the large horned beast, but he is battered and thrown around in the mud, his weapons failing and his armor heavily damaged. As the beast charges to finish the Mandalorian, the Child uses the Force to lift it, allowing the Mandalorian to go for the kill by stabbing it in the neck.

He returns with the egg, and the Jawas cut it open and eat its contents. He and Kuiil repair his ship, after which Kuiil turns down the Mandalorian's offer of reward and crewing his ship. After parting as friends, the Mandalorian takes to space, and the Child wakes up after exhausting itself using the Force.)

Mandalorian: (breathing heavily) That was... intense.

8th Doctor: (examining his wounds) Are you okay? You took quite a beating.

Mandalorian: (grimacing) I'll live. But we need to get moving. The longer we stay here, the more chances we have of being tracked. 8th Doctor: (nodding) Agreed. But we need to find out who's after the child and why.

Mandalorian: (looking at the tracking fob) This should give us some answers. (pauses) But first, we need to get my ship back. 8th Doctor: (smiling) I have faith in you, Mandalorian. You'll find a way.

Mandalorian: (nodding) Thanks, Doc. (pauses) Let's go get that egg.

After a fierce battle with the mud horn, the Mandalorian emerges victorious, albeit battered and bruised. He hands over the egg to the Jawas, who promptly devour its contents. Kuiil helps him repair his ship, and they part ways as friends.

Mandalorian: (shaking Kuiil's hand) Thank you for your help. You're a true friend.

Kuiil: (smiling) It was my pleasure. You're a good man, Mandalorian. I hope you find what you're looking for. Mandalorian: (nodding) I hope so too. (pauses) You sure you don't want to come with me? I could use a good crew member.

Kuiil: (shaking his head) My place is here. But if you ever need me, you know where to find me. Mandalorian: (smiling) I do. Take care, Kuiil. As the Mandalorian takes off into space, the Child wakes up and looks around, confused.

Mandalorian: (smiling) Hey there, little one. (pauses) It looks like it's just you and me now. But don't worry. I'll protect you, no matter what. To be continued
